As the Senior Vice President, Strategy and President, Industrial Solutions for Atmus, Rakesh oversees our efforts to drive innovation, explore new business opportunities and expand into industrial filtration markets to diversify our business and unlock growth opportunities. He also has the responsibility of leading our Industrial Solutions segment, which consists of the Koch Filter business. Alongside this work, Rakesh also leads our corporate communications and marketing function.

Previously, Rakesh served as our Executive Director of Sales, Marketing and Product Management, and was responsible for sales, product management, marketing and program management. During this time, he also led the strategy and business development function and was instrumental in creating a plan to expand the business into adjacent growth markets.

Prior to that, Rakesh served as Senior Director of Corporate Development at Cummins Inc., successfully completing multiple acquisitions and joint venture projects, supporting the strategy work for the Electrification business segment and building organizational capabilities to ensure successful integration of the target post-transaction.

Rakesh’s early career began on the manufacturing line, and he later held finance and strategy roles before moving into general management, including his role as General Manager for a Cummins Joint Venture based out of Middle East.

Rakesh holds a Bachelor of Engineering degree in mechanical engineering and has an MBA degree in finance. He also holds a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) charter.
