The Enterprise Environmental Management System (EMS) plays a critical role in Atmus global environmental footprint reductions among other improvements. Atmus adopted a model that includes a common framework to ensure a similar look, feel and fundamental approach throughout the organization. The EMS has the flexibility to allow individual sites and businesses to address risks and opportunities most important to them. Atmus has integrated health and safety processes and procedures with the environment, in accordance with the international standard ISO45001 Occupational Health and Safety Management System, to create the Enterprise Health, Safety and Management System (HSEMS).
The system has served as the framework for driving continual improvement and efforts beyond compliance at Atmus locations around the world.
