Prohibited and Restricted Substances Standard

Consistent with its commitment to contribute to a cleaner, healthier and safer environment, Atmus Filtration Technologies has identified substances that are restricted and/or prohibited from our products. Consequently, suppliers must be aware of and adhere to regulatory requirements for materials or components supplied to Atmus. Relevant regulatory requirements, guidance documents and resources provided by regional regulatory agencies or governing bodies should be reviewed regularly.  Links to some regulatory agencies or governing bodies are listed below:

Suppliers who provide any product or service to Atmus are wholly responsible for the end product provided to Atmus, regardless of how many sub-suppliers (Tier 2, 3, etc.) may be in the supply chain. The end product supplied includes partially or fully finished assemblies, components, packaging, chemicals, and consumable processing substances. This further applies to all suppliers and joint ventures producing branded products such as Fleetguard®

It is the responsibility of the supplier to verify that the substances listed in Filtration Engineering Standard (FES) 1801, Prohibited and Restricted Substances are not in any products or materials supplied to Atmus per the referenced threshold. For more details, view the Filtration Engineering Standard (FES) 1801.
